Celebrate Marriage Equality!
Membership Revival Party at KTAO — November 20th, 6 PM
featuring the TAOS GOSPEL CHOIR!
PFLAG is celebrating marriage equality at their Membership Revival Party on Wednesday, November 20, at KTAO Pavilion, at 6:00 P.M. If you got married or obtained a marriage license this year, we want to include you in our marriage equality celebration. Please call Eileen Wiard at 770-0312 to let us know you’re coming and make sure you and your spouse get personally acknowledged at the event (with a wedding or license obtaining picture in our slideshow).
Come hear how PFLAG-Taos has been moving equality forward in Taos through its tireless efforts (Scholarships, Open Heart Awards, Speakers Bureau, Diversity Dance, Gay-Straight Alliance in the schools) and our plans for the coming year. The Taos Gospel Choir will give an uplifting performance.

Taos Well-Represented at the PFLAG National Convention in Washington, D.C.
It was an honor and a privilege to go to Washington, D.C. with Eileen and Steve Wiard and my loving spouse Jean-Vi Lenthe. We did our best to represent Taos as we shared our personal experiences and those of others who continue to be harmed and discriminated against in the LGBT community. We discussed eight bills that will bring more hope and equality to the LGBT community and create a more peaceful and accepting environment where children can thrive and all people can live in safety. Why Join PFLAG Taos?
PFLAG Taos is a home for LGBT persons, their families, friends, and allies, where support, education, advocacy, and friendship is available. By supporting PFLAG Taos, you will help maintain a strong positive presence in the greater Taos area, and also support PFLAG, Inc., our national organization, which assists some 500 PFLAG chapters and which maintains a crucial national presence.
Membership strengthens our organization by providing the financial means to meet the basic needs of running the organization. We offer many volunteer opportunities. PFLAG volunteers implement programs, host parties, provide refreshments, speak at engagements and reach out personally to people in need. Volunteering is a great way to stay involved with the LGBT community.
Become a member of our PFLAG Family/Village and be part of the change you want to see in Taos, the place we all call home.
Together we are moving equality forward and creating a safe, peaceful and accepting community where everyone of us can be just who we are.
